My boyfriend and I went to Southport for Labor Day weekend and decided to rent a couple of kayaks and paddle from Dutchman's Creek to Southport. What a great experience! Nathan was really helpful and reliable. He had several choices of kayaks. The ones he brought were clean and comfortable. He also gave us tips on how to ensure our backs and arms didn't get sore on our adventure. (We've kayaked many times before, but no one had ever told us this!) He also gave us suggestions on where to paddle.
I would definitely recommend Mr. Beach Rentals, as well as use them again the next time I go to Southport!

Our family rented 2 paddle boards over Memorial Day weekend. We had such a blast! Everyone took a few turns and enjoyed it. We rented them for the day. It was easier in the morning when the waves were more calm. Awesome way to work out or you can just float and relax. Nathan was great and super friendly. He even drops them off and picks them up! Highly recommended for family friendly fun!

Me and a few friends had an awesome weekend in Oak Island. We rented two paddle boards and a kayak from Mr. Beach Rentals. Nathan was great, he brought the equipment right to the house we stayed at.
The first day, the ocean was rough so we went out that evening on the waterway. The next day was much calmer so we spent the whole day paddling and kayaking in the ocean. It was a great experience! I would definitely go back to Mr. Beach Rentals next time I'm on Oak Island.

Me and a friend were on Oak Island for a few days and got a bit bored, so we looked for kayaks and went with Mr. Beach Rentals. Definitely a solid choice. We ended up kayaking the Intracoastal Waterway because it was a rough day when we finally decided to go. We ended up going for 4 hours. I would recommend longer in hindsight. It was still a lot of fun though, and the gear was delivered and picked up.
Synopsis: The right prices, definitely the right place, and great service. Seriously, delivery was better than Domino's.
